Chemelex is seeking a commercially driven and technically proficient Industrial Projects & Services Sales Engineer to support the continued growth of our business in the Norwegian industrial market. The role will focus on Raychem products and solutions for demanding industrial, energy, infrastructure, and project-driven applications. As a member of our Norwegian sales team, you will develop and manage the project pipeline, identify new business opportunities, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders across the industrial value chain. These include engineering houses, EPC contractors, A/E firms, equipment manufacturers, contractors, end users, asset owners, and industrial customers. This customer-facing position combines technical expertise, market knowledge, business development, and consultative sales. The successful candidate will understand complex customer requirements, develop appropriate solutions, and build credibility with both technical and commercial decision-makers. We particularly welcome candidates who have previously worked as electricians or in electrical, industrial, or technical environments and who also have proven experience in sales, technical sales, or business development. Key responsibilities

Develop, qualify, and manage the company’s project pipeline in Norway.Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities for Raychem products and solutions. Establish and maintain strong relationships with engineering houses, EPC companies, A/E firms, contractors, manufacturers, end users, and asset owners. Manage the complete sales process, from early project development and specification through to order acquisition. Understand customer needs and provide technically appropriate and commercially competitive solutions. Support customers throughout the specification, engineering, procurement, and delivery phases. Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and other commercial documentation. Coordinate effectively with internal engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure successful execution. Monitor market trends, customer requirements, project activity, and competitor developments. Represent the company at customer meetings, seminars, exhibitions, and relevant industry events. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity information in Salesforce CRM. Ensure that all customer interactions, sales activities, opportunities, and follow-up actions are recorded in Salesforce. Travel regularly throughout Norway, including approximately 30–50 overnight stays per year.

Qualifications and experience

Technical education or equivalent professional experience, preferably within electrical engineering, electrical installation, or a related discipline. Practical experience as an electrician or in an electrical, industrial, engineering, or comparable technical environment is strongly preferred. Proven experience in industrial project sales, technical sales, business development, engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated sales experience, with the ability to develop customer relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into orders. Practical knowledge of electrical systems, industrial installations, or comparable technical solutions. Experience working with engineering houses, EPC contractors, manufacturers, end users, and asset owners. Strong understanding of the Norwegian industrial market and its key stakeholders.Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Native-level Norwegian language skills and strong written and spoken English. Valid driving license. Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Norway, including overnight stays.
