Job SummaryJoin our team to deliver inventive electrical solutions that secure our customers and the world. This leadership role directs Quality Management and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs for the site. The successful candidate will drive regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, team development, and operational excellence to meet global standards, customer requirements, and statutory obligations. What You Will Experience In This Position Core Responsibilities 1: Quality

Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop teams to embed quality disciplines, data-driven decision-making, and best practices across operations. Manage Quality Assurance technicians to meet internal/external customer demands. QMS Management: Drive continuous improvement of the site’s ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. Lead internal/external quality audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Chemlex Global Quality policies; lead cross-functional teams to close audit non-conformances. Issue Resolution: Lead the investigation, resolution, and prevention of customer complaints and internal non-conformances. Establish and execute robust Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and 8D problem-solving plans. Process Control: Provide statistical support for process capability studies and controls to improve quality performance. Lead the implementation of quality assurance plans and process controls to meet or exceed requirements. NPD & Supplier Quality: Participate in New Product Development (NPD) teams, driving Product Quality Planning, FMEAs, and PPAPs. Deliver technical support to suppliers to resolve and eliminate systemic quality issues. Data & CI: Track, report, and improve quality KPIs/KPAs with targeted action plans. Conduct cost-benefit analyses and develop proposals for continuous improvement projects (design changes, rework processes, back-charge decisions, etc.).

Core Responsibilities 2: EHS

EHS Strategy: Own the site EHS strategy, policy deployment, and daily management to ensure full regulatory and company compliance. EHS Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain site EHS management systems (aligned with ISO 14001/45001) in accordance with local laws, regulations, and Chemelex global EHS standards. Risk Management: Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and control measures for workplace safety, environmental protection, and occupational health. Ensure proper use of PPE, machine guarding, fire protection, chemical management, and contractor safety controls. Incident Management: Oversee incident/accident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and prevention programs. Lead emergency preparedness, response plans, drills, and cross-functional safety committees. Audits & Compliance: Conduct regular EHS audits, safety walks, inspections, and performance reviews; drive prompt closure of nonconformances. Manage environmental compliance (waste, emissions, energy, water) and corporate sustainability initiatives. Training & Reporting: Manage EHS training, communication, awareness, and competency building for all employees. Prepare and report EHS KPIs, regulatory filings, and management reviews as required.

    Qualification Requirements Academic Background

BS in Engineering or related technical field; advanced degree preferred Minimum 7 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing/assembly environment; EHS management experience is a plus

Professional Experience

Experience in manufacturing, preferably in electronic assembly Demonstrated people management experience Proven track record managing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills to resolve quality/EHS issues timely and effectively Experience in Lean Manufacturing and driving continuous improvement Familiarity with EHS regulations, management systems, and best practices in manufacturing

Skills

Strong analytical thinking and root-cause problem-solving abilities (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone). Adaptable to rapid change and able to perform under pressure with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with statistical software and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese. Knowledge of material flow processes and supply chain fundamentals.
