  What you will experience in this position: This is a technical and commercial sales role serving a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, power, water, food and beverage and other process industries. You will sell electrical heat-tracing and thermal-management products, services and project solutions to industrial end users, contractors and OEM customers.The territory will primarily cover West & Central Netherlands, with clear ownership of both existing account development and active hunting/new business within the assigned territory.Through frequent direct customer visits, you will develop relationships with existing and new customers, understand their applications and promote innovative solutions to the relevant stakeholders within each opportunity.By actively contributing to the development and execution of the Benelux sales strategy, you will take ownership of your assigned accounts and territory and deliver sustainable and profitable growth for Chemelex. Key responsibilities: •    Develop existing customers and identify new business opportunities.•    Build strong relationships with industrial end users, contractors and OEM customers.•    Visit customers throughout the assigned territory and understand their applications, projects and commercial needs.•    Use a consultative sales approach to translate customer requirements into suitable Chemelex products, services and solutions.•    Manage opportunities from initial contact through quotation, negotiation and closing.•    Deliver agreed sales, margin and growth targets for the assigned customer portfolio and territory.•    Grow recurring business and local industrial projects by developing new customers and the existing installed base.•    Promote the complete Chemelex product range, including new solutions, upgrades and specialist applications.•    Deliver customer presentations, product training and lunch-and-learn sessions where these support business development.•    Maintain an accurate overview of customer activities, opportunities and sales forecasts in the CRM system.•    Develop and execute account plans for priority customers, including clear growth opportunities and actions.•    Monitor market developments, planned customer investments and competitor activity.•    Work closely with technical and commercial colleagues to provide customers with the right solution. Candidate Profile: •    Bachelor’s level in engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or another relevant technical field, or equivalent through experience.•    Approximately 3–5 years of technical B2B sales experience.•    Experience in industrial electrical products, process technology, instrumentation, HVAC or related technical solutions is preferred.•    Experience working with industrial end users, contractors or OEM customers is an advantage.•    Commercially driven and comfortable developing new business.•    Able to understand technical applications and explain customer value clearly.•    Independent, structured and comfortable managing customers across a sales territory.•    Fluent in Dutch and able to communicate professionally in English.•    The ability to speak and write French is an advantage.•    Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel; experience with Salesforce or another CRM system is preferred.•    Willing to travel regularly throughout the Benelux, primarily within the Netherlands, and holds a valid driving license. Preferred experience: •    Basic knowledge of electrical heat tracing or low-voltage electrical power distribution.•    Knowledge of, or experience within, one or more relevant industrial sectors, such as refining, petrochemicals, chemical processing, power generation or utilities. Working arrangements: •    This is a home-based field-sales position with regular travel throughout the assigned territory.•    The role requires frequent customer visits and occasional presence at Chemelex offices, production locations, project sites and internal meetings.•    Approximately 50% travel may be required, primarily within the Netherlands and occasionally elsewhere in the Benelux.   What we offer: • Competitive base salary plus a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) • 8% holiday allowance • 13th month • Company car • 27 days of annual leave plus 6 ADV (working-time reduction) days per year for full-time employees • Pension plan with an employee contribution of 3.5% • Access to collective health insurance • Employer-paid WIA and WIA accident insurance • Worldwide business travel assistance • Sports contribution of up to €25 net per month • Tablet, phone, printer
