Chemours is seeking a Manager, Talent & Organizational Development to join our Human Resources team. This position will report directly to the Talent & Organization Development Director at our Wilmington, DE location.

In this hands-on role, you will turn Chemours’ talent strategies into well-executed programs across performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, career growth, and a organizational design. Partnering with the Director of Talent, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and HR technology teams, you will own program delivery, create compelling presentations and practical materials, and use talent data to guide decisions and improve results. You will also support implementation of emerging talent capabilities as priorities evolve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own talent program delivery. Translate approved program designs into an annual talent calendar, workplans, milestones, and deliverables. Manage performance management, goal setting, feedback, ratings, calibration, and talent review cycles that inform development plans, succession planning, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure succession planning follow-through. Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to turn talent review decisions into documented actions, owners, and timelines. Maintain current succession information, coordinate regular progress reviews, and track agreed development actions and updates to successor readiness. Summarize progress and escalate stalled actions or unresolved succession gaps to the Director to keep plans active between review cycles.
  • Drive execution with HRBPs and leaders. Clarify responsibilities, prepare partners, facilitate training, and help coordinate calibration and talent reviews. Track completion and follow-up actions, resolve issues, and escalate risks or decisions early to keep programs on track.
  • Execute organization design activities. Conduct and complete organization design tasks, including gathering and analyzing information, documenting current- and future-state structures, coordinating stakeholder input, facilitating workshops with business leaders, and preparing recommendations and implementation materials.
  • Support the Chemours Leadership LAB. Coordinate the design and execution of key elements of a multi-faceted talent development program, including individual development planning, mentor matching and support, and development experiences for participants and their managers.
  • Lead talent communications and enablement. Translate talent strategies and processes into clear, compelling experiences for executives, HRBPs, managers, and employees. Independently build polished PowerPoint decks, training materials, facilitation guides, job aids, and templates. In partnership with the Communications team, develop launch messages, talking points, reminders, and FAQs that make complex concepts and processes clear and actionable.
  • Deliver development and career programs. Support career pathing and mobility, skills architecture, career hub, and organization design initiatives through project coordination, analysis, and implementation support.
  • Analyze talent data and communicate insights. Clean, reconcile, and combine Workday exports and other talent data. Build accurate, repeatable Excel workbooks using formulas, lookups, PivotTables, charts, and data validation. Identify trends and gaps, and translate findings into clear recommendations and leadership-ready presentations. Handle sensitive employee information in accordance with company privacy, access, and records requirements.
  • Coordinate Workday system requirements and testing. Document business requirements and partner with HR technology teams on configuration details. Develop test scenarios, conduct user acceptance testing, track issues through resolution, and confirm readiness before launch.
  • Improve processes and measure results. Establish and track program measures, gather stakeholder feedback, and improve effectiveness, adoption, and the employee experience. Maintain process guides, standard templates, annual calendars, and lessons learned. Partner with the Director and technology teams to reduce manual work through automation and appropriate AI-enabled solutions.
  • Manage external providers. Lead or support sourcing and selection of talent providers. Manage deliverables, timelines, service quality, and spending within agreed authority to ensure solutions meet program needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years progressive talent management experience with demonstrated ownership and hands-on delivery of enterprise talent programs in complex organizations.
  • Experience managing large-scale programs and change adoption in global, multi-site, matrixed organizations, including communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • PowerPoint and materials development: Demonstrated ability to independently create polished executive presentations, training decks, and practical program materials with clear storylines and effective visuals.
  • Excel and data analysis: Demonstrated ability to clean and reconcile data, use formulas and lookups, build PivotTables and charts, and translate analysis into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with HR systems, reporting, business requirements, and user acceptance testing.
  • Strong writing, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information, engage senior leaders, and build effective partnerships with HRBPs and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, and follow-through, with the ability to manage concurrent priorities, ensure execution through others, and handle confidential employee information responsibly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Hands-on Workday experience, including talent processes, reporting, configuration coordination, and testing.
  • Experience improving recurring HR workflows through automation, advanced Excel capabilities, or appropriate use of AI-enabled tools.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
