Job Summary

Chief Isaac Group is seeking a Truck Driver to transport materials, equipment, and goods safely and efficiently. This role requires a responsible and experienced driver who can manage logistics, perform basic vehicle maintenance, and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and road regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe Transport: Operate company trucks to transport goods and equipment efficiently.
  • Route Planning: Plan and follow designated routes while adhering to schedules.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, report issues, and ensure vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Loading & Unloading: Secure cargo properly and assist with loading/unloading as required.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Follow all transportation laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs, trip reports, and fuel records.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous truck driving experience preferred.
  • License: Valid Class 3 or 5 driver’s license with air brake endorsement (or willingness to obtain if required).
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods: Valid TDG, ideally with experience transporting Propane.
  • Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of road safety, load security, and vehicle operation.
  • Reliability: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Physical Fitness: Capable of performing manual tasks related to loading and unloading cargo.
