JOB SUMMARY:

The Lifecycle Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring Choice-branded hotels are accurately represented and fully bookable across all distribution channels throughout key lifecycle events, including openings, rebrands, suspensions, reinstatements, and terminations. This role is responsible for the integrity of hotel data, rate accuracy, and seamless distribution across OTA, GDS, and direct booking platforms—directly impacting hotel visibility, guest booking experience, and revenue performance. Serving as a key operational partner, the Coordinator collaborates cross-functionally with Property Support, Distribution, and IT teams to execute timely updates, resolve system discrepancies, and ensure hotels transition smoothly into market. This role also acts as a frontline resource for lifecycle-related system inquiries and issue resolution. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, operating within a high-volume, fast-paced support environment.

Note: This role is 4 days onsite in Scottsdale, AZ not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Distribution & Data Integrity

  • Ensure hotel content (rates, descriptions, amenities, policies, and imagery) is accurate, complete, and consistently displayed across all booking channels.
  • Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies that could impact booking accuracy, guest experience, or revenue.

Hotel Onboarding & Lifecycle Execution

  • Coordinate end-to-end system setup and activation for new hotel openings, rebrands, and relaunches, including pre-sale readiness.
  • Execute lifecycle changes (suspensions, reinstatements, terminations) with precision to prevent booking disruption and guest confusion.
  • Perform system validation checks, including GDS initialization and test bookings, to confirm successful activation.

System & Distribution Coordination

  • Manage data integration from Propel into Choice systems, ensuring accurate property setup and connectivity.
  • Coordinate GDS switches and OTA distribution updates for onboarding and brand transitions.
  • Support secondary name updates and ensure changes are reflected across all platforms and stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal teams (Property Support, Distribution, IT, and Operations) to ensure hotels are guest-ready and visible at the appropriate time.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for lifecycle-related system questions and issue resolution.

Issue Resolution & Continuous Improvement

  • Troubleshoot system or distribution issues, escalating as needed to drive timely resolution.
  • Identify recurring issues and provide input on process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Employment Experience

  • One to three years of experience in a customer service, hotel operations, hospitality support, or customer-facing role is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting hotel onboarding, distribution setup, rate loading, or connectivity across online travel agency and booking platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of hospitality reservation, central management, or distribution systems is preferred.
  • Experience with GDS, OTA connectivity, or hotel distribution operations is preferred.
  • Prior hotel industry experience, including exposure to openings, rebrands, or lifecycle support processes, is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to manage data and communicate clearly.
  • Proficiency with trouble ticket applications, such as ServiceNow, or similar customer support, reporting, and database tools.
  • Familiarity with hotel distribution systems, OTA platforms, GDS workflows, or related reservation technologies is preferred.

Additional Skills & Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and support timely resolution.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and support partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and service quality.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree or higher education preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
