The posting

We're looking for a skilled Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you'll set up and operate a variety of CNC and manual machine tools to manufacture and repair critical aerospace components. This is precision work where quality, attention to detail, and craftsmanship matter. If you take pride in producing accurate parts, troubleshooting machining challenges, and working independently in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to hear from you. Our teams repair and manufacture critical aerospace components used throughout the global aviation industry. What you do here has real-world impact every day. Shift: Primarily Monday-Friday (schedule flexibility required; days and hours may vary based on business needs, including weekends)Hours: 10:00 PM-6:30 AMShift Differential: $2-$4/hour based on assigned workdaysSign-On Bonus: $1,000 What You'll Do

Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses Manufacture and repair precision aerospace components to tight tolerances Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, technical drawings, and specifications Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials for machining operations Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, pi tapes, and other precision measuring tools Change tooling and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed Perform complex machine setups with minimal supervision Complete required inspection and production documentation Perform routine machine maintenance and safely operate overhead cranes Troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What We're Looking For

Machining experience in a manufacturing environment Experience operating CNC and manual machine tools Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T Proficiency using precision measuring and inspection equipment Strong math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Bonus Qualifications

Aerospace manufacturing or component repair experience Experience with close-tolerance machining CNC program editing experience Experience with horizontal boring mills, vertical lathes, or engine lathes Trade school, technical training, apprenticeship, or machining certifications
