The posting

Objetivo del Puesto Transportar camiones o unidades de carga desde los patios de maniobras en México (como Mexicali o Tijuana) a través de la aduana fronteriza hasta las bodegas asignadas en Estados Unidos (como Calexico o San Diego), asegurando el cumplimiento de las normas aduaneras y de seguridad de ambos países en el mismo día.

Funciones y Responsabilidades

Cruce Aduanero: Conducir la unidad de carga a través de los recintos fiscales internacionales (México y EE. UU.). Revisión de Documentación: Verificar que el pedimento de exportación, manifiesto de carga (e-Manifest) y papelería aduanera coincidan con la mercancía. Inspección del Vehículo: Realizar la revisión previa al viaje (Pre-Trip Inspection) bajo las normas del DOT (Departamento de Transporte de EE. UU.). Protocolos de Seguridad: Cumplir estrictamente con los lineamientos de certificaciones contra el contrabando y terrorismo (C-TPAT, FAST y OEA). Monitoreo y Reporte: Mantener comunicación constante con los departamentos de Tráfico, Operaciones y los Agentes Aduanales ante cualquier inspección secundaria o retraso. Maniobra de Patios: Enganchar y desenganchar cajas de tráiler o descargar mercancía en los patios asignados del lado estadounidense para retornar inmediatamente a México. Otras actividades relativas al puesto.

Requisitos del Perfil

Documentación Legal: Visa Americana vigente (B1/B2, Láser o visa de trabajo), Licencia Federal de Conductor Tipo B, C o E (SCT) vigente y pasaporte mexicano. Certificaciones: Contar con Fast Card (deseable o mandatoria según la empresa). Experiencia: Mínimo 2 a 3 años operando vans de carga, o tractocamiones o camiones pesados, y al menos 1 año realizando cruces fronterizos. Salud: Examen médico preventivo de transporte aprobado obligatorio.

Competencias y Habilidades

Conocimiento Normativo: Familiaridad con las reglas del DOT (horas de servicio, bitácoras) y regulaciones de la aduana americana (CBP). Responsabilidad y Honestidad: Cuidado estricto de la carga para evitar contaminación de la mercancía con sustancias ilegales. Orientación al Logro: Capacidad para manejar la presión de los tiempos de espera en las filas de la aduana. Inglés Básico: Capacidad para entender instrucciones sencillas de los oficiales de la aduana estadounidense.
