Job Description
We are seeking a skilled developer to join our software engineering team. Working closely with agile, cross-functional teams, you will design, build, deliver, and maintain resilient, end-to-end applications that power our reinsurance platforms, while receiving the domain training and support needed to learn the business, ramp up quickly, and contribute with confidence.
In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain scalable front-end and back-end architectures
- Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across the stack
- Work alongside senior engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues across multiple environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience preferably within the insurance domain
- Strong experience with Node.js, Java, .NET, or Python
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like Angular
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing frameworks
- Proven experience with Git or similar source control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of troubleshooting complex software defects
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-organizational teams
- Understand DevOps and Agile methodologies and practices
