Position Details:

  • Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Playwright Automation
  • Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore
  • Employment Type: Full Time
  • Experience Level: 6-10 Years

Role Overview: Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer for the development of insurance web application and APIs. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance business and the ability to effectively communicate with both onshore and offshore resources in the development of high-quality software solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy web-based applications and APIs that ensure Chubb's compliance with industry regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in automation and functional testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java
  • Knowledgeable about testing methodologies and automation tools.
  • Property & Casualty insurance domain experience secondary skill set.
  • Advanced proficiency in test case design and execution.
  • Strong programming skills for test automation.
  • Extensive knowledge of testing tools including Playwright, Selenium, APIs, SQL
  • Thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with testing processes.
  • Experience in applying AI-driven approaches to enhance Quality Engineering practices by accelerating automation development, reducing manual effort, improving test coverage, and supporting smarter test design and maintenance.

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills: Playwright, Manual/Functional testing, AI Tools, P&C background, Mainframe
