Job Summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Marketing Operations & Global Consumer Care, Sr. Director, to join our team. The senior leader for Marketing Operations & Global Consumer Care will build the enterprise operating system that turns marketing strategy into disciplined execution and measurable business impact. This leader will establish the governance, capabilities, processes, technology, performance management, and service models for our 360 marketing plans required to improve speed, quality, accountability, and return on marketing investment across the portfolio.

About the Role

This experienced operator will set expectations across six Strategic Business Units (SBUs), create transparent scorecards and operating rhythms, and hold teams accountable for deadlines, decision gates, and performance. The leader will also oversee Global Consumer Care; enterprise governance and commercial management of creative, brand strategy, and public relations agencies; and the efficiency of total non-working brand marketing expense.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this executive will advise the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team and partner across SBUs, Creative Excellence, Digital Growth, Insights & Analytics, Finance, Procurement, IT, and international teams.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ and requires in- person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Enterprise Marketing Operations & Governance

· Create and lead the enterprise Marketing Operations strategy, roadmap, organization, and operating model.

· Establish a common operating cadence across six SBUs, including planning milestones, decision gates, launch calendars, measurement requirements, roles, service levels, and escalation protocols.

· Use executive scorecards to hold leaders accountable for plans, budgets, approvals, assets, data, and results; surface risks early and remove systemic bottlenecks.

Brand Planning, Campaign Integration & Execution Excellence

· Lead enterprise brand planning and translate priorities into an integrated execution calendar across brands, agencies, and functions.

· Set scalable standards for intake, prioritization, briefing, resource planning, quality assurance, launch readiness, and post-launch evaluation.

· Ensure major initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and on brand; manage critical interdependencies and integrate acquired brands into enterprise processes and systems.

Performance Measurement, Budget Discipline & Value Creation

· Define enterprise KPI standards, measurement plans, and reporting cadences with Insights & Analytics, Digital Growth, and SBU teams.

· Ensure material initiatives have clear objectives, indicators, accountable owners, and learning agendas; translate post-campaign results into decisions and cross-brand learning.

· Improve discipline across budgets, forecasts, non-working spend, agency fees, and ROI, providing fact-based resource allocation and productivity recommendations.

Agency Commercial Management & Governance

· Own governance and commercial management of creative, brand strategy, and public relations agencies, including sourcing, RFPs, negotiations, scopes, rates, incentives, compliance, renewals, and performance.

· Partner with Procurement, Creative Excellence, Digital Growth and SBU leaders to ensure the agency roster delivers quality, capacity, speed, innovation, and value.

· Establish clear scopes, ways of working, scorecards, and reviews; hold all parties accountable and identify opportunities to consolidate, renegotiate, or redesign relationships.

Marketing Technology, Workflow & AI Enablement

· Define requirements and adoption roadmaps for workflow, planning, reporting, digital asset management, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.

· Lead process redesign, training, and change management to embed new ways of working and deliver measurable gains in speed, productivity, quality, visibility, or performance.

Global Consumer Care

· Lead Global Consumer Care, operating model, service standards, and metrics across markets.

· Ensure interactions reflect brand voice, company values, quality and regulatory standards, effective resolution, and timely escalation of material consumer, product, reputational, or compliance issues.

· Convert consumer contacts and emerging themes into actionable enterprise insight, using technology, analytics, and partner management to improve experience, efficiency, and learning.

Enterprise Leadership, Talent & Change

· Build and lead a high-performing team that influences effectively across a complex, matrixed organization.

· Advise the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team on operating model evolution, capabilities, investment effectiveness, and execution risk.

· Create a culture of accountability, service, continuous improvement, and fact-based decisions; communicate change clearly and build sustained adoption.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
