Persist Online, das neue Zombie-MMORPG von den Machern von Tibia, steht vor dem Early Access. In dieser Phase rollst Du gemeinsam mit dem Team die Releases aus und triffst Entscheidungen, die über den Erfolg des Spiels mitbestimmen. Die Stelle ist ein guter Quereinstieg für Dich, wenn Du aus der Systemadministration oder Softwareentwicklung kommst und den nächsten Schritt in Richtung Produktverantwortung gehen möchtest, ohne die Technik hinter Dir zu lassen. Bei uns kannst Du:

  • den dauerhaften Live Betrieb von Persist Online sicherstellen, um den Spielern das bestmögliche Erlebnis zu bieten
  • in einer entscheidenden Entwicklungsphase des Spiels unsere Toollandschaft und Release-Prozesse eigenständig erweitern, laufend optimieren und neue Standards etablieren
  • Releases planen, koordinieren, live schalten und so für reibungslose Sessions sorgen
  • regelmäßig die Logfiles der Livesysteme auswerten und Maßnahmen ableiten
  • die Bugtracking-Prozesses überwachen und Bugfixes für kommende Releases einplanen
  • teamübergreifend Probleme analysieren und für diese gemeinsam Lösungen erarbeiten

Wir stellen uns vor, dass Du:

  • technisches Verständnis im Umgang mit der Linux-Konsole und Kenntnisse rund um SQL und Datenbanken mitbringst
  • Kenntnisse in Bash Scripting oder einer anderen servertauglichen Skriptsprache hast und idealerweise bereits Erfahrung mit Jenkins sammeln konntest
  • bei Störungen den Überblick behältst und auch in stressigen Situationen sorgfältig arbeitest
  • Dein Organisationstalent und Deine Entscheidungsfreude in spannenden Projekten rund um Persist Online anwendest
  • flexibel einspringst, wenn Probleme oder spontane Releases Deine Aufmerksamkeit verlangen
