Meet the Team

US Commercial is a critical segment for Cisco's growth and success. We are a high-energy, collaborative group of sales professionals dedicated to helping our customers navigate their digital transformation journeys. In this role, you will join a team that values innovation, agility, and a "customer-first" mindset. We pride ourselves on being customer-obsessed and solving complex business challenges with Cisco’s world-class technology portfolio.

Your Impact

As an Account Executive, you will be the primary point of contact for a defined set of accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end sales motions, from identifying new opportunities to closing complex deals across Cisco’s portfolio.

  • Focus on Ford and their role in the automotive industry. Earning your PhD on Ford is Job One. Bring solutions to the team at Ford.
  • Focus on collaboration and team building. Your role, as a sales quarterback, is to drive large complex pursuits, as part of our portfolio, within Ford IT proper and across multiple major affiliates. Our team culture is one of pride for Ford and attention to all of Ford's lines of business. We bleed Ford Blue.
  • We ensure that every pursuit has Top-Down and Bottom-Up support. Every franchise has a Cisco Executive Sponsor and that each Ford leader is effectively mapped to their BE/CX leader. Your role is to build that Exec Sponsor relationship to the same level of your own relationship.
  • We always put Ford first. We actively listen to Ford (and the industry), and we focus on bringing solutions to Ford to help IT gain their "unfair" market advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Expand existing client relationships and identify new sales opportunities to deliver consistent year-over-year growth.
  • Elevate Customer Success: Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions to improve customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Execute Strategic Territory Planning: Strengthen Cisco's market visibility through rigorous account planning, accurate forecasting, and consistent quota attainment.
  • Bridge Internal & External Teams: Serve as the vital link between customers and internal Cisco cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage short, mid, and long-term pipeline health to ensure predictable business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technology sales or a related field.
  • Demonstrated track record in building and executing territory strategies, including accurate forecasting, consistent quota attainment, dynamic presentation skills, and short/mid/long-term pipeline management.
  • Strong market insight required; technical aptitude and the ability to articulate complex solutions preferred. Proven track record of delivering business value and building deep customer relationships.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to position end-to-end solutions and articulate Cisco strategies to senior customer executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite and senior-level decision-makers.
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building long-term, high-value customer relationships.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to articulate complex, end-to-end technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, and collaborative team environment.
  • Experience navigating complex organizational structures to drive cross-functional alignment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
