Meet the Team

Welcome to Global Supplier Management (GSM)! We’re the heartbeat behind Cisco’s ability to redefine the industry. We don't just manage supply chains; we deliver a competitive edge through radical technology innovation, rock-solid strategic supplier relationships, and total cost excellence. Our Strategic Sourcing team acts as the bridge between cutting-edge technology and business success, specifically focusing on the high-octane world of Mixed Signal and Timing technology. We are a group of problem solvers who love tackling sophisticated technical and business challenges, and we’re looking for someone ready to dive into the deep end of the pool with us.

Your Impact

In this role, you will be the architect of our Commodity Strategy, ensuring that Cisco stays ahead of the curve. You will be the primary engine behind investigating and sourcing next-generation Mixed Signal and Timing technology, effectively becoming the go-to expert for our engineering teams. By aligning and influencing our internal roadmaps, you’ll ensure that our product strategy is always in sync with market realities. You’ll spend your days orchestrating collaboration across a diverse web of stakeholders—including production operations, component engineers, and design leads—to drive value engineering from initial ideation to final execution. You won’t just be managing parts; you’ll be providing the technical expertise and market insights that empower our engineers to build the next generation of networking products, all while ensuring we maintain the perfect balance between supply continuity, cost, and delivery excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant degree.
  • Prior experience in developing and implementing successful business strategies.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of Networking/Communication technology, Mixed Signal and Timing Technology, power development processes, and the current marketplace.
  • Expertise in high-stakes negotiation, building positive relationships across internal and external teams, and master-level conflict resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hybrid, fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn complex situations into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills—you know how to influence the room and bring people together.
  • Direct experience leading roadmap reviews between engineering teams and external suppliers.
  • Prior experience with supply chain central operations, process improvement, and tool management.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
