Meet the team

As an Outbound Product Manager supporting Velocity Segment, Distributors, and 2T Partners, you will engage distributor leaders and their sales, technical, and commercial teams, together with 2T resellers, valuable resellers, managed service providers, and systems integrators served through distribution.

You will be responsible for driving business growth through distributors and tier two (2T) partners by leading go-to-market strategy, scalable programs, and strategic partner initiatives for Cisco Secure Routing, SD-WAN, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Security Service Edge (SSE), and Cloud Networking. Success looks like building key distributor and partner relationships that translate portfolio opportunities into joint commitments, adoption, and measurable business results.

The core remit is distributor-led reach, and 2T partner & velocity customer activation, productivity, and customer success. You will own & execute: velocity client base engagement strategy & distributor/ and 2T route-to-market strategy, including managed service providers and systems integrators served through distribution. You will coordinate with tier one (1T) and service provider partner owners to align shared accounts, coverage, offers, messaging, and execution.

Your Impact

Partner strategy and growth

  • Define and implement short- and long-term distributor, velocity, and 2T go-to-market plans, segmenting partners by capabilities, customer coverage, growth potential, and readiness for networking and security solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with key distributor executives, business leaders, and strategic 2T partners and the velocity customers they serve.
  • Build joint business plans with distributors that connect portfolio priorities to partner recruitment, activation, enablement, demand generation, and measurable sales outcomes. Establish accountable owners and review progress regularly.
  • Accelerate modernization of the enterprise routing installed base through partner-led migration plays, refresh campaigns, and cross-sell opportunities across SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, and cloud networking.
  • Develop repeatable partner journeys from onboarding and technical readiness to first opportunity, first sale, and sustained productivity. Use distributor reach to scale enablement, campaigns, and access to presales support.

Market Insight and Product Priorities

  • Gather distributor, partner, customer, and field feedback; analyze regional demand, competitive positioning, adoption barriers, and customer usage to identify the highest-value opportunities.
  • Provide prioritized market requirements and cases to product owners to influence roadmaps. Clarify trade-offs across customer value, channel economics, product availability, architecture, engineering capacity, and delivery timing; track partner and launch readiness against committed roadmaps.

Offers and Commercialization

  • Develop compelling solution bundles, pricing proposals, and promotional programs with finance and pricing owners. Assess customer value, distributor and reseller economics, and program returns to balance margin, competitive viability, and long-term growth, and influence product-line financial outcomes.
  • Work with distribution and operations teams to improve quoting, ordering, fulfillment, subscription activation, and renewal journeys; identify friction and coordinate resolution with accountable teams.
  • Align launch plans, offer readiness, partner-facing assets, and sales plays across internal teams and distributors. Coordinate with 1T and telco partner owners on shared opportunities and launches.

Solution Expertise and Execution

  • Demonstrate solution-level fluency in enterprise routing and security, SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, cloud network management, and SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid-cloud delivery. Explain end-to-end value across network, security, compute, storage, applications, and customer use cases; work with technical specialists to explain architecture, TCP/IP, SNMP, network security, and software delivery trade-offs.
  • Create clear positioning, competitive guidance, demonstrations, and enablement for distributor and 2T sales and technical audiences. Represent the portfolio through executive briefings, webinars, roadshows, and partner events.
  • Lead cross-functional programs through influence, resolve competing priorities, communicate risks, and keep stakeholders aligned. Translate channel requirements into delivery needs and coordinate technical requirements through accountable product and engineering teams, including engagement with external development partners where needed.

Performance and Course Correction

  • Define a scorecard and review cadence with sales, finance, and distribution teams. Use agreed data definitions to assess partner reach, productivity, product adoption, and commercial performance; course-correct underperforming programs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology or related industries, with demonstrated delivery of measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in partner go-to-market execution, including growth programs, strategic relationship development, and translation of customer and partner needs into offers, product requirements, and sales enablement.
  • Experience in enterprise networking solutions, with experience leading portfolio positioning, partner enablement, and strategic discussions across routing, security, SD-WAN, SASE, SSE, and cloud networking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and financial skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders and present to technical, sales, and executive audiences.
  • Experience scaling adoption through distributors, partners, and a broad reseller ecosystem, with knowledge of two-tier channel economics, subscription models, and partner business planning.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and SaaS or software delivery models.
  • Experience building enterprise networking products and working with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, including SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS delivery models.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
