Role Overview

We're looking for a passionate Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting cutting-edge AI-driven product offerings that revolutionize how users discover cities. Your expertise will be crucial in developing advanced search and personalization features, ensuring our users find exactly what they're looking for and more. If you're eager to leverage AI to connect people with their city's heart and soul, this is your calling.

Responsibilities

  • AI Product Development: Spearhead the creation and implementation of AI algorithms that drive city discovery, personalized recommendations, and content curation.
  • Data Engineering: Utilize your data scraping expertise to gather, clean, and structure diverse datasets that fuel our AI models.
  • Search Optimization: Design and refine high-quality search functionalities that are intuitive and responsive, enhancing user engagement.
  • Personalization Algorithms: Develop sophisticated personalization engines that tailor the Cityscope experience to each user's preferences and behaviors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate AI technologies seamlessly into Cityscope's platform.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of AI/ML advancements to continually improve our offerings and maintain Cityscope's position as a leader in hyperlocal discovery.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience & Skills:Proven track record as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role, with a portfolio that showcases your work on AI-driven products.
  • Proficient in data scraping, cleaning, and manipulation techniques.
  • Expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and other AI technologies.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, and familiarity with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with search algorithms, ranking systems, and personalization models.
  • Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
  • Personal Attributes:A keen interest in city exploration and a deep understanding of Cityscope's mission and offerings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, remote team environment.
  • Creative thinker with a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions.
