Clayton of Belgium nv te Bornem is gegroeid vanuit een Amerikaans familiebedrijf dat marktleider is op vlak van thermische installaties gebaseerd op stoom. Clayton of Belgium is het hoofdkantoor van de EMEA-regio (Europa, Midden-Oosten, Afrika en Rusland) en zorgt al 60 jaar voor milieubewuste oplossingen op vlak van processtoom. Bij ons werk je mee aan een interessant technisch product binnen een internationaal bedrijf met een familiaal karakter. Jouw takenpakket:

  • Een belangrijke stap in het productieproces van onze stoomgeneratoren is het testen of de onderdelen lekvrij zijn. Om dit te kunnen onderzoeken zal jij, als hydro-tester deze onderdelen (nl. de verwarmingsspiraal en de separator) onder waterdrukof hydro-druk
  • Nadat je de onderdelen hebt afgedicht met de juiste flens, en nadat je de juiste kranen en pompen aangesloten hebt, zal er water door het onderdeel worden geleid. Dit water zal je vervolgens onder hoge druk zetten, waardoor eventuele lekken kunnen worden opgespoord.
  • In deze job zal je nauw samenwerken met zowel de ploegverantwoordelijke als met onze kwaliteitsafdeling.
  • Jouw hoofdtaak als hydro-tester wordt aangevuld met het bijstaan van de collega’s van plaatbewerking. Hierbij zal je in het begin de plaatafdeling assisteren. Zagen, slijpen, schuren en boren, zijn slechts enkele van de uit te voeren taken. Alle onderdelen (platen, buizen, …) worden netjes voorbereid voor de collega’s van de lasafdeling en assemblage-afdeling.

Jouw profiel:

  • Aangezien veiligheid een belangrijk aspect is binnen de job, zal je ook de nodige begeleiding krijgen zodat je weet op wat je zeker moet letten.
  • Waar wij als firma ook veel belang aan hechten is motivatie, leergierigheid en werkbereidheid. Bij je twee collega’s van de afdeling kan je immers altijd terecht voor bijkomende uitleg of hulp.
  • Je bent iemand die technisch aangelegd is en leergierig. Een technische scholing of ervaring is een plus.
