Wil jij jongeren, ouders en scholen ondersteunen op momenten waarop het écht telt? Ben je sterk in het opbouwen van verbinding, hou je van afwisseling en krijg je energie van zowel individuele begeleiding als werken met groepen? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou.

Als psychopedagogisch consulent maak je deel uit van ons team Buitengewoon en Secundair Onderwijs én van het team eerstelijnspsychologen dat klassessies aanbiedt in scholen. In deze gevarieerde functie combineer je individuele begeleiding, schoolondersteuning en preventief groepswerk.

Jouw opdracht als psychopedagogisch consulent (18/36)

Je ondersteunt leerlingen, ouders en scholen vanuit de verschillende CLB-opdrachten en bent een belangrijke schakel tussen onderwijs en welzijn.

Je takenpakket omvat onder andere:

  • Je bent een aanspreekpunt voor scholen en denkt mee na over onderwijs- en welzijnsvragen.
  • Je begeleidt jongeren en hun gezin rond thema's die hun ontwikkeling, welzijn en schoolloopbaan beïnvloeden.
  • Je volgt de leerplichtcontrole nauwgezet op.
  • Je ondersteunt scholen binnen de vier CLB-begeleidingsdomeinen.
  • Je informeert leerlingen, ouders en scholen over het onderwijslandschap en mogelijke trajecten.
  • Je voert diagnostisch onderzoek uit en vertaalt je bevindingen naar heldere adviezen.
  • Je verwijst door en werkt constructief samen met externe diensten en partners.
  • Je neemt actief deel aan teamoverleg en multidisciplinaire samenwerking.
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte en zorgvuldige administratieve opvolging van je dossiers.

Jouw opdracht binnen de klassessies (10/36)

Samen met een ervaren collega geef je interactieve klassessies in basis- en secundaire scholen.

Je:

  • begeleidt groepen leerlingen rond thema's zoals sociale vaardigheden, sociale media, stress, faalangst, welbevinden en veerkracht;
  • werkt preventief aan het versterken van sociale en emotionele vaardigheden;
  • creëert een veilige omgeving waarin leerlingen kunnen leren, reflecteren en ervaringen uitwisselen.

Geen enkele dag is dezelfde. Je schakelt tussen gesprekken met leerlingen en ouders, overleg met scholen, diagnostisch werk en het geven van dynamische klassessies. Zo combineer je individuele begeleiding met preventief en groepsgericht werken en draag je op verschillende niveaus bij aan het welzijn en de ontwikkeling van kinderen en jongeren.

Ons centrum werkt sterk schoolnabij. De scholen waarmee je samenwerkt bevinden zich in Brussel en de Rand. Dat vraagt zelfstandigheid, verantwoordelijkheidszin en een sterke voeling met de lokale context.

Je bent zelfstandig, communicatief en flexibel. Je bent sociaal vaardig, kan goed organiseren en werkt klantgericht. Je werkt graag in teamverband. Je drukt je vlot uit, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, in het Nederlands en hebt voldoende kennis van het Frans.
