Clear Street’s mission is to become a single-source platform that serves a variety of investor types across multiple asset classes on a global scale. The Clear Street UK team is bringing Clear Street’s established equities, options and fixed-income prime brokerage business to a new market.

The Role:

Clear Street's International Electronic Execution Services business is growing, and we are looking for an Electronic Sales Trader & Client Support professional to join our London team. You will be embedded within a high-calibre group spanning Electronic Client Coverage, Technologists and Algorithmic Salespeople, and play a central role in supporting and developing our electronic client franchise across Equities and Options.

This is a front-line, client-facing role operating at the intersection of technology and capital markets. You will own real-time client support, provide consultative guidance on algorithmic usage, and act as the critical link between our clients, sales, technology and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide real-time support across Clear Street's algorithmic execution platform, handling both technical and functional client queries across equities and listed options.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technology, support and sales teams, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver outstanding client
  • Identify, triage and remediate technical issues promptly, coordinating across support, technology and engineering functions as required.
  • Take full ownership of client incidents from initial triage through to resolution, demonstrating proactive problem-solving and effective multi-team
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal stakeholders and external clients, maintaining clear and timely communication
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on FIX protocol, order types and execution venue connectivity, liaising directly with exchanges, ATS and other execution venues.
  • Support the growth of the electronic business by providing consultative guidance on platform usage, best execution practices and algorithmic strategy

Skills required:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience supporting an equity/options algorithmic trading platform in a client-facing environment
  • Demonstrable experience in risk management across equities and listed options.
  • Strong working knowledge of FIX protocol across both asset
  • Solid command of Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) and fundamental execution quality metrics.
  • Options trading experience is an important component of this
  • Detailed understanding of current European and global market structure, including lit and dark venues, periodic auctions and
  • Familiarity with Python, AWS or Snowflake for data querying and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical
