The role applies AI-enabled methods to build training that is effective, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals. It works with minimal supervision and collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

Instructional Design & Development

  • Design and develop learning programs using advanced instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning theory).
  • Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify and address training requirements.
  • Develop and refine learning objectives, assessments, and multimedia content that deliver high-quality learning experiences and meet organizational goals.
  • Develop or revise instructor-led training material packages, aligning content, assessments, and evaluations with well-defined learning objectives.
  • Design hands-on, performance-based technical training for field technicians, including job aids, practical assessments, and skills verification.

AI-Enabled Learning Development

  • Apply AI tools to accelerate and improve training development, such as content drafting, scenario and assessment generation, storyboarding, translation, and personalization.
  • Validate all AI-generated content for technical accuracy, safety, and instructional quality with SMEs before release.
  • Use AI in accordance with Clearway-approved tools and data classification and handling requirements.
  • Document effective AI workflows and prompts, and coach team members in their use.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect and analyze participant feedback and assessment data to recommend and implement improvements to training content, materials, delivery methods, and learning outcomes.
  • Use data-driven insights, including AI-assisted analysis, to report on and improve program effectiveness and support organizational objectives.

Collaboration, Leadership & Mentorship

  • Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business needs.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing feedback and support for their professional growth.
  • Lead project teams or workstreams as assigned, determine deliverables, create development timelines, and report on progress and milestones.

Project & Resource Management

  • Manage multiple training development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in training development, instructional design, or technical training.
  • 3+ years of experience developing or delivering technical training for field technicians, operators, or similar hands-on roles.
  • Proven, demonstrable experience using generative AI tools to design, develop, or evaluate training programs.
  • Proven success in developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs.
  • Solid understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training evaluation frameworks.
  • Proven expertise leveraging AI in training development, with demonstrated examples of improved speed, quality, or learner outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering technical training for field, operations, or skilled-trades audiences.
  • Working knowledge of safety- and compliance-driven training environments (e.g., OSHA, NERC, or equivalent regulatory frameworks).
  • Demonstrated proficiency with LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching junior staff.
  • Ability to travel about 10%

What Would Be Nice

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
