Founder's Associate - Product

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a high-ownership, high-exposure role sitting directly alongside the CTO at an early-stage Voice AI company. You will help shape product strategy, surface customer insights, and support hiring, all while building the skills and perspective needed to start your own company one day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Analyze customer data and feedback to identify high-impact problems worth solving.

- Conduct customer interviews to deeply understand user needs and pain points.

- Research market opportunities and the competitive landscape to inform product strategy.

- Evaluate emerging AI models, prompting techniques, and Voice AI approaches to keep the product ahead of the curve.

- Triage incoming product feedback and make clear, prioritized recommendations to the team.

- Support recruiting efforts to bring on exceptional engineering talent.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 2 or more years of experience in product management, software engineering, or a founding role shipping software products.

- Technical background, demonstrated through software engineering experience, a CS or related degree, or technical product management.

- Hands-on experience evaluating, testing, or working with AI models, prompting techniques, or voice AI systems.

- Track record of conducting customer interviews and user research to drive product decisions.

- Experience analyzing product feedback and data to identify and prioritize problems.

- Familiarity with competitive analysis and market research to inform strategy.

- Some exposure to hiring or technical evaluation of engineering candidates.

- Experience working in a B2C or B2B SaaS product environment, ideally at an early-stage startup or scale-up.

- Strong product taste, commercial instinct, and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly in writing and conversation.

- High agency: you take ownership and move things forward without waiting for direction.

- Open to direct feedback and able to iterate quickly without ego.

On-site in Berlin, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
