Founders Associate - Sales

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a generalist, high-ownership role sitting right at the center of an early-stage B2B cleantech software company. You will work directly with the founding team to drive revenue, build sales infrastructure, and keep operations moving, making this a rare opportunity to shape a company from the ground up in the European energy transition space.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Build and execute the sales playbook, owning outreach, pipeline development, and deal closure with B2B decision-makers.

- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across European commercial and industrial markets.

- Design and implement internal operational processes to keep daily work running without friction.

- Support team growth by coordinating recruiting efforts and attracting strong candidates.

- Work across Sales, Growth, and Customer Success, stepping in wherever the company needs you most.

- Tackle ambiguous, undefined problems with speed and a bias for action.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Native or bilingual German and fluent English (required).

- At least 1 year of experience at a high-growth startup, venture capital fund, investment bank, or strategy consulting firm, or a strong academic background from a competitive university plus relevant internship experience.

- Demonstrated ability to execute B2B sales outreach and engage senior decision-makers.

- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales automation tooling.

- Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and early-stage environments where scope is not always defined.

- Experience designing operational or internal processes from scratch.

- A competitive, high-energy mindset with a strong sense of personal ownership.

- Bonus: exposure to product, growth, marketing, strategy, or operations functions.

- Bonus: prior touchpoints with cleantech, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or European energy markets.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Base salary: 65,000 to 85,000 EUR annually.

- Equity: VSOP or equity package included with standard vesting schedule.

- Visa sponsorship: Not available.

LOCATION

On-site in Berlin, Germany (Hamburg or Kiel also considered). This is not a remote role.
