ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage energy technology team building an enterprise platform for energy procurement and cost optimization. You will work closely with customers and company leadership to turn complex market dynamics and data into practical, scalable product features.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own product features from discovery and design through implementation and deployment.
- Collaborate with customers to translate product goals into clear requirements and iterative solutions.
- Build performant backend services for data-intensive applications.
- Create intuitive frontend interfaces for complex decision-support workflows.
- Develop time-series forecasts for power consumption and renewable generation.
- Build linear optimization algorithms to help reduce energy costs.
- Help shape the product's technology stack, including PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, and Python.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience delivering scalable web applications in an early-stage startup environment.
- Experience independently delivering complete product features in collaboration with customers.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of building robust, maintainable web applications.
- Experience building frontend interfaces for complex decision-support systems and backend services for data-intensive products.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, React, and Python; familiarity with TypeScript is useful.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in time-series forecasting and linear optimization.
- A product mindset, comfort working across the stack, and curiosity about energy markets.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The salary range is €85,000 to €140,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
Hybrid in Munich, Germany, with most of the week spent working on-site and occasional flexibility to work remotely.
