Senior Fullstack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a small, high-impact engineering team building an AI-native financial planning and analysis platform for modern finance teams. You will work closely with technical leadership and cross-functional teammates to design and deliver product features that directly shape the direction of the product.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap.

- Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end to end.

- Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack.

- Help establish engineering best practices that lay the foundation for a high-performing team and culture.

- Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to continuously improve the product.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year contributing to system design or architecture.

- Full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript, Node.js on the backend, and React on the frontend.

- Background as a balanced fullstack engineer or a strongly frontend-focused engineer (backend-only profiles are not a fit).

- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Experience using MongoDB as an application database.

- Experience with BigQuery for analytics and querying large datasets.

- Familiarity with automated testing, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong collaboration skills with senior technical leadership and cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work remotely from the Americas and collaborate effectively in a distributed environment.

- A clearly differentiated engineering record, showing outsized impact rather than a merely solid senior profile.

- Interest in AI-focused product engineering is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary range: $150,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

Fully remote, open to candidates based in Canada or the United States.
