Onze klant is een internationale speler binnen de chemische industrie, actief in hoogwaardige productieprocessen met een sterke focus op veiligheid, kwaliteit en continue verbetering. De productieomgeving is sterk geautomatiseerd en werkt volgens strikte normen op vlak van kwaliteit, milieu, energie en veiligheid. Voor de uitbreiding van het productieteam zijn zij op zoek naar een Operator Chemie die wil werken in een volcontinu systeem (12-uren shiften).

Jobomschrijving

Wat kan je verwachten van je job als OPERATOR CHEMIE?

  • Als Operator Chemie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het bedienen, opvolgen en bijsturen van chemische productieprocessen. Je werkt in een volcontinu 12u-shiftensysteem en draagt actief bij aan een veilige, efficiënte en kwalitatieve productie. Je takenpakket bestaat onder andere uit:
  • Bedienen en opvolgen van geautomatiseerde productie-installaties via procescomputers
  • Manipuleren en controleren van grondstoffen om een continu productieproces te garanderen
  • Bewaken van productkwaliteit en tijdig ingrijpen bij procesafwijkingen
  • Uitvoeren van preventief en correctief eerstelijnsonderhoud
  • Oplossen van storingen en het helpen voorkomen van ongeplande productiestops
  • Nemen en testen van productie­stalen (eerste operator)
  • Instaan voor een grondige reiniging van de installaties volgens 5S-, ATEX- en HSE-richtlijnen
  • Actief assisteren van de shiftleader bij productie-optimalisaties
  • Meewerken aan de opleiding en begeleiding van nieuwe of junior operators
  • Zorgen voor een correcte ploegenoverdracht via logboeken en mondelinge feedback
  • Actief deelnemen aan teammeetings, safety meetings en verbeterprojecten
  • Je werkt nauw samen met collega-operators, shiftleaders, onderhoud, labo en HSE.

Wat zien we graag terug in jouw profiel als OPERATOR CHEMIE?

  • Voor de functie van Operator Chemie zoeken we iemand die veiligheid en kwaliteit centraal stelt en graag werkt in een volcontinu omgeving.
  • Je beschikt over een technisch A2-diploma of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur 1 à 2 jaar ervaring als operator in een (chemische) productieomgeving
  • Ervaring met geautomatiseerde processen is een plus
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, proactief en probleemoplossend
  • Je kan goed functioneren in een volcontinu 12u-shiftensysteem
  • Je bent een echte teamplayer en communiceert vlot met collega’s
  • Je spreekt Nederlands en hebt een basiskennis Engels
  • Je staat open voor opleidingen en werkt volgens vastgelegde procedures en veiligheidsregels
