Your role at Clorox:

The Senior Manager, Scrum Master / Team Coach enables complex Agile teams and cross-team delivery within an Agile Release Train (ART), supporting Order-to-Cash, Customer Care, and Logistics capabilities within the Supply Chain organization.

This role serves as a senior facilitator, coach, and servant leader, helping teams plan, collaborate, and deliver valuable technology outcomes within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. The Senior Manager leads team execution across PI Planning, iterations, system demos, and Inspect & Adapt; removes systemic impediments and manages dependencies; and uses flow, predictability, quality, and outcome measures to drive continuous improvement.

The role partners with Product Owners, Product Management, the Release Train Engineer, architects, business stakeholders, external service providers, and globally distributed technology teams while helping mature Lean-Agile practices across the ART.

In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate Agile team events, including iteration planning, daily team syncs, backlog refinement, iteration reviews, retrospectives, system demos, and Inspect & Adapt activities.
  • Prepare and coach teams through PI Planning, including capacity planning, story decomposition, dependency identification, risk management, confidence voting, and development of Team PI Objectives.
  • Coach teams in Scrum, Team Kanban, SAFe, servant leadership, self-management, built-in quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain clear, appropriately sized, and ready backlog items with defined acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Product Owners, architects, peer Scrum Masters, and the Release Train Engineer to support ART objectives and manage cross-team dependencies.
  • Identify, remove, or escalate systemic impediments and delivery risks, ensuring clear ownership and timely resolution.
  • Facilitate alignment and dependency management across internal teams, business stakeholders, and external service providers.
  • Maintain effective Jira boards, workflows, work-item integrity, WIP limits, and transparent delivery reporting.
  • Use cycle time, throughput, blocked work, predictability, quality, and PI objective achievement to identify constraints and drive measurable improvements.
  • Coach Product Owners, team members, peer Scrum Masters, and leaders on Lean-Agile practices and effective team operating models.
  • Lead resolution of complex cross-team delivery challenges and influence senior business and technology stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Promote trust, transparency, constructive conflict, psychological safety, and shared accountability across diverse and geographically distributed teams.
  • Identify systemic delivery patterns and recommend improvements to the Release Train Engineer and ART leadership.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience in technology, project, program, or product delivery, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Team Coach, Agile Delivery Lead, or Agile Coach within a medium or large enterprise.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple Agile teams or complex cross-team delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Team Kanban, SAFe, PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, backlog readiness, dependency and risk management, and Lean-Agile continuous improvement.
  • Advanced facilitation and coaching skills with delivery teams, Product Owners, technical leaders, senior stakeholders, and external service providers.
  • Experience with Jira or a comparable Agile lifecycle management platform for backlog management, workflow transparency, delivery reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience using flow, predictability, quality, and outcome measures to identify constraints and improve team and organizational delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve complex impediments, and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Experience working with outsourced, multi-vendor, multicultural, or geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate delivery risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and improvement opportunities to senior audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Agile certification such as SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent preferred. Advanced Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, PMI-ACP, or coaching certification is also preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP Transportation Management, SAP Extended Warehouse Management, SAP Ariba, Uber Freight, or comparable platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods, Supply Chain, ERP, or integrated enterprise technology environments is a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
