Senior ICT Project Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior ICT Project Lead to manage the end-to-end delivery of ICT and Data Center infrastructure projects across Singapore and the APAC region.

The successful candidate will act as the on-site technical and project leader, responsible for project planning, implementation, team coordination, customer communication, and successful project acceptance. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise, proven team leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage customer-facing projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Delivery Management

  • Lead the delivery of ICT, Data Center, Network, and Infrastructure projects from planning through final acceptance.
  • Manage project schedules, resource allocation, risk control, and delivery quality.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customer stakeholders.

2. Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical leadership across one or more of the following areas:
  • Data Center Infrastructure Enterprise Networks (Routing & Switching) Network Security Solutions Wireless Networks Server & Storage Systems Cloud and Virtualization Platforms
  • Review technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues during project execution.

3. Team Management

  • Lead and supervise local and regional engineers during project implementation.
  • Manage daily on-site activities and monitor deployment progress.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance management for project team members.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

4. Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers throughout project delivery.
  • Manage customer expectations and provide regular project status updates.
  • Support pre-sales discussions and technical consultations when required.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

5. Post-Deployment Support

  • Support project handover, documentation, knowledge transfer, and customer acceptance.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure, Networking, or Data Center projects.
  • Proven experience leading project delivery teams and managing customer-facing projects.
  • Experience in Data Center deployment, migration, commissioning, or infrastructure implementation is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multi-site deployments is an advantage.

Technical Skills

Strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Data Center Networks
  • Server & Storage Infrastructure
  • Virtualization Platforms
  • Cloud Computing Solutions
  • Structured Cabling Systems

Certifications (Preferred)

  • H3CIE
  • HCIE
  • CCIE
  • PMP
  • PRINCE2
  • Equivalent industry certifications

Language Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Work Location & Travel

  • Primary location: Singapore
  • Regional travel: Willingness to travel across Singapore and other APAC locations as required by project delivery needs.
  • On-site work: Willingness to work at customer sites and data centers during project implementation.
