Role Summary

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will take a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our AI Platform. You will lead the design and development of intuitive, high-performance interfaces that power human-in-the-loop workflows, model evaluation, workforce management, and real-time inference validation. Working closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams, you will translate requirements into seamless, reliable, and scalable user-facing systems. Responsibilities:

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement new frontend features across CloudFactory Platforms
  • Build performant, scalable, and intuitive interfaces for human-in-the-loop review, workflow orchestration, model validation, and annotation tools.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to translate complex AI concepts into seamless user experiences.
  • Improve application performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across browsers and devices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable code following best practices and internal engineering standards.
  • Participate in technical planning, sprint ceremonies, and architectural discussions.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and standards.

Ad-hoc responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve production issues related to frontend performance or UI behaviours.
  • Prototype new UI ideas or rapid experiments to support product discovery.
  • Explore and evaluate emerging libraries, tools, and frontend technologies.
  • Mentor and support mid-level or junior engineers when needed.

Requirements

Competencies:

  • Skills and Experience:
  • Must-Have Technical Skills
  • 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
  • Expert-level experience with React (Hooks, Context API, component optimization, React 19).
  • Experience with modern state management tools: Redux Toolkit, Zustand etc.
  • Ability to design scalable frontend architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS
  • Solid understanding of HTML5 / CSS3, responsive and cross-browser development.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, SWC, esbuild).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and code review best practices.
  • Nice-To-Have Technical Skills
  • Experience with 2d canvas frameworks like Konva
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Architecting and implementing new frontend features.
  • Improving performance, usability, and accessibility across the product.
  • Participating in technical planning and architectural decisions.
  • Conducting code reviews and maintaining high engineering standards.
  • Any other General requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly to diverse, multinational teams.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to justify technical choices.
  • High level of independence and ownership.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
