The posting

Clustox is hiring a Content Engineer to join our Marketing team and work primarily on content for our products and SaaS offerings.

We're looking for someone who goes beyond traditional content writing someone who understands how content discovery is changing across search engines, AI-powered answer engines, and generative AI platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong writing and research skills with practical use of AI tools and agents, and knows how to structure content so it gets found, cited, and trusted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality content for Clustox products, SaaS offerings, landing pages, blogs, use cases, product features, and marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and optimize content using SEO, AI SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), AIO (AI Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies.
  • Apply E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles across all content.
  • Write clear, compelling product, technical, and SaaS-focused content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Research keywords, topics, competitors, user intent, and industry trends to identify content opportunities.
  • Structure content for discoverability across traditional search engines as well as AI-powered platforms and answer engines — including headings, answer-first formatting, entity coverage, internal linking, and schema-ready structure.
  • Use AI agents and AI-powered tools for research, content workflows, optimization, analysis, and productivity, while maintaining strong human editorial judgment and fact-checking every claim.
  • Build content briefs and outlines that other writers can execute against.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Design, SEO, and Development teams to understand our products and translate technical capabilities into valuable customer-facing content.
  • Review and improve existing content based on search performance, relevance, accuracy, and changing search and AI discovery trends.
  • Track content performance in Google Search Console and GA4, and use it to decide what to write, update, or retire.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, quality, and factual accuracy across all content.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–3 years of professional content writing or content marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and modern AI-driven content optimization.
  • Practical understanding of AEO, AIO, GEO, and E-E-A-T.
  • Excellent English writing, editing, research, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience creating product and technical content.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools, AI agents, or agentic workflows as part of the content creation process.
  • Ability to understand technical and product concepts and communicate them in simple, engaging language.
  • Strong research skills with emphasis on accuracy, credible sources, and original content.
  • Ability to manage multiple content requirements and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience writing for SaaS, software, technology, or digital products.
  • Experience with product-led content and B2B technology audiences.
  • Familiarity with analytics, keyword research, content optimization, and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Understanding of how content can be structured and optimized for visibility and citations in AI-generated answers and generative search experiences.
  • Basic working knowledge of HTML, WordPress, or a headless CMS.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
