De functie

We zijn momenteel op zoek naar een Senior Marine Underwriter om een ​​breed scala aan middelzware en complexe risico's binnen een gespecialiseerde maritieme portefeuille te beheren. In deze rol combineert u technische expertise op het gebied van underwriting, gezond verstand en commercieel inzicht om risico's te beoordelen, prijsstelling te bepalen, relaties met tussenpersonen te onderhouden en bij te dragen aan winstgevende portefeuillegroei.

Wat je gaat doen

Complexe risico's beoordelen: Aanvragen en financiële vereisten voor risico's die geavanceerde beoordelingsvaardigheden vereisen, beoordelen en de aanvaardbaarheid bepalen in overeenstemming met de richtlijnen en normen van het bedrijf.

Prijsbepaling voor winstgevendheid: De juiste prijs bepalen op basis van financiële en concurrentieanalyses, waarbij ervoor gezorgd wordt dat beslissingen in lijn blijven met de compliance-vereisten en de bevoegdheid tot risicobeoordeling.

Contact onderhouden met makelaars en klanten: Offertes opstellen, vragen van makelaars en polishouders beantwoorden, onderhandelen over oplossingen en complexere kwesties escaleren met duidelijke oplossingen waar nodig.

Portefeuillekwaliteit beheren: De kwaliteit en kwantiteit van de verzekerde risico's analyseren en rapportages opstellen voor managementbeoordeling ter ondersteuning van effectief portfoliobeheer.

Marktkennis opbouwen: Relaties met makelaars ontwikkelen en onderhouden, CNA Hardy-producten en -diensten promoten en op de hoogte blijven van relevante kwesties, regelgeving, brancheactiviteiten en trends in het werkgebied.

Expertise op het gebied van verzekeringsacceptatie: Sterke kennis van verzekeringsacceptatie, met name binnen de maritieme sector.

Commercieel inzicht: Vermogen om problemen te identificeren, analyseren en oplossen, zelfstandig te oordelen en effectief cruciale zakelijke beslissingen te nemen.

Relatievaardigheden: Sterke interpersoonlijke, communicatieve en onderhandelingsvaardigheden, met het vermogen om effectief samen te werken met interne teams, tussenpersonen en externe zakenpartners op alle niveaus.
