The posting

  1. Job Description Plan, deploy and maintain DWDM / OTN / NMS transmission systems for core and metro networks. Perform installation, commissioning, integration, cut-over and acceptance testing for transmission equipment. Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and low latency. Troubleshoot transmission/network issues, conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate resolution with customers/operators. Support capacity planning and network migration projects to meet increasing bandwidth requirements. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including: Network design, Maintenance procedures, Configuration/change records, Troubleshooting documentation. Coordinate with IP Core/Metro, GPON and other technical teams for end-to-end service delivery.
  2. Requirements Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related fields. Hands-on experience with DWDM / OTN transmission equipment. Experience with transmission platforms from major vendors or equivalent systems. Strong knowledge of optical transmission technologies, including: DWDM, OTN, ROADM, EDFA, Raman, ASON, Coherent Optics, CDC/CDC-F related technologies. Experience working with NMS platforms for transmission network management. Good English communication skills, both speaking and writing. Good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to manage multiple time-critical tasks in a fast-paced environment. Willing to travel as required. Preferred: Certification in Transmission / Optical Networking, such as: HCIP/HCIE Transmission, Ciena / Nokia optical networking certifications. Preferred: Experience working with telecom operators or large-scale transmission networks. Preferred: Experience in network migration, capacity expansion or major network upgrade projects.
