Automotive Service Advisor / Consultant

Company: Coastal Nissan

Location: Pawleys Island, SC

Position Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, Finish by 5:30 PM | Weekends Off!)

Compensation: Base Salary + Commission (Starting pay based on experience)

About the Role

Coastal Nissan is growing! We are seeking a Full-Time Service Advisor to join our busy service department. As the primary point of contact for our service guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering a top-tier dealership experience.

No prior automotive experience? No problem! We provide full on-the-job training and web-based instruction to set you up for success. If you bring a positive attitude and a passion for customer service, we will teach you the rest. If you do have experience, it’s a big bonus and will be reflected in your starting pay!

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and handle initial service intake and vehicle check-ins.
  • Prepare accurate service estimates and communicate vehicle maintenance needs clearly.
  • Process and inspect new Nissan vehicles upon delivery from the manufacturer.
  • Answer incoming service phone calls and schedule customer appointments.
  • Work closely with our service technicians to ensure timely, quality work.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • No previous experience required — candidates with previous service or Nissan background receive higher starting pay as a bonus!
  • Outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude, and a high level of professionalism.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
