The posting

Our client is one of the world's largest banks, providing comprehensive financial services globally. it plays a key role in international banking and cross-border trade.

Role Purpose:

  • Responsible for the build-up and management of a profitable & quality loan portfolio, as well as total banking relationship with existing and target clients.
  • Coordination with relevant external agencies, financial institutions, internal department/units within the bank

Duties and Responsibilities:

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

1. Generates revenue growth & account profitability by:

  • Understanding thelogic of a targeted industry & identifying its key players as prospective clients.
  • Understanding the business strategy, business performance, financing requirements & payment capacity of existing & prospective clients through thorough credit evaluation & financial analysis using industry reports, financial statements & other relevant information.
  • Preparing comprehensive Financial Package (Credit Application) for approval by the Credit Committee, Executive Committee or Board of Directors.
  • Preparing line renewals, offering tickets, call reports, classified account reports & other such reports necessary for effective account monitoring.

2. Achieves total banking relationship for by performing the following marketing activities:

  • Conducting tele-marketing calls & office/factory visits to clients.
  • Offering additional loan facility to address business expansion or diversification.
  • Cross-selling other Bank products (e.g. Deposit products, Trade, Cash Management and Advisory, Treasury products)

3. Maintains quality loan portfolio by performing the following due diligence:

  • Monitoring the business performance of clients, as well as prevailing industry
  • Minimizing the occurrence of past due accounts by identifying early warning signals.
  • Minimizing the ratio of classified accounts to total loan portfolio.

4. Making of account plans/strategy to help in the realization of targets

RISK MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

1. Maintains effective credit management by:

  • Compliance with credit policies, procedures & processes at all times.
  • Ensuring full or optimum utilization of approved lines by constant monitoring of credit availments.
  • Coordinating with various units to ensure full compliance to the credit process at all times.

2. Manages risks by:

  • Observing established operational controls & procedures, as well as complying with the Banks policies & regulatory issuances at all times.
  • Developing & institutionalizing risk mitigants.

COMPLIANCE DUTIES

  • The RM shall conduct KYC on customers and ensure that the CDD and EDD policies of the bank are complied with.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years banking experience
  • At least 2 years experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking
  • Must have existing portfolio of major Philippine conglomerates (i.e.Ayala, San Miguel, Aboitiz, JG Summit, MPIC, SM Group, Razon Group).
