The posting

We are seeking a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Senior Consultant or Manager/Principal Consultant to join our LCA team.

Our clients are increasingly seeking expert LCA support to understand the environmental impacts of their products, services and systems; improve product design; make credible, evidence-based sustainability claims; and accelerate the transition to primary Scope 3 data. To meet this demand, we are looking for a proven LCA practitioner who can contribute immediately to high-quality project delivery across our global team.

This role is based in the Philippines and can be partially hybrid (working from home several days / week).

This role is focused on delivering rigorous LCA modelling, high-quality analysis, strategic insight and clear client-facing recommendations. The ideal candidate will bring at least 4 (for Senior Consultant) or 6 (for Manager/Principal Consultant) years of practical, applied LCA experience, strong technical judgement, and the confidence to solve complex problems in real project settings.

We are looking for someone who combines analytical rigour with commercial and strategic thinking: someone who can understand a client's challenge, design the right technical approach, execute it efficiently, and translate the results into compelling, actionable insight. Strong storytelling is essential. The ability to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations that resonate with the intended audience is one of the most important aspects of this role.

The successful candidate will be impact-driven, committed to environmental outcomes, personally accountable for the quality of their work, and motivated to continuously improve how we deliver, including through the effective and responsible use of AI.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Project Delivery

Project Management: Lead the delivery of consulting engagements and LCA projects on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards across a diverse range of sectors while managing multiple projects and workstreams effectively, balancing competing timelines, priorities and client expectations.

LCA Technical Execution & Modeling: Design, build, review, and interpret robust Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and product carbon footprint models primarily using SimaPro, ensuring alignment/adherence to recognized LCA methodologies, ISO standards, sector-specific frameworks, Product Category Rules and client-specific requirements.

Analysis & Strategic Recommendations: Understand client challenges, opportunities and decision making needs, then design practical LCA approaches that provide clear value. Translate complex technical data into clear, compelling deliverables and actionable, evidence-based recommendations addressing hotspots, trade-offs, and client decision-making needs.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Engage confidently with clients, including gathering requirements, explaining methods and assumptions, presenting findings, managing feedback and supporting trusted client relationships.

Problem-Solving & Judgment: Apply strong, pragmatic judgement, critical thinking and proactive problem-solving to identify issues, resolve roadblocks and propose practical ways forward.

Expert Input & Quality Assurance: Provide guidance on product carbon footprints, GHG inventories and the intersection between product-level analysis and corporate carbon accounting. Review project work and provide expert viewpoint and quality assurance on deliverables. Uphold the commitment to high-quality, high-impact LCA work, with strong attention to detail, technical accuracy and consistency.

Business Development

Proposal Management: Lead or contribute to the development of proposals on LCA, EPD, CBAM, and contribute to the presentation and conversion of these opportunities, in collaboration with the guidance and support of colleagues.

Service development: Develop or contribute to the development of new service offerings and/or streamline and improve existing service offerings including creating delivery and proposal templates, providing training and acting as internal expert on a specific service.

Thought Leadership and Marketing: Contribute to the development of Anthesis' thought leadership and marketing materials in relation to LCA, EPD and CBAM.

Organizational & Personal Development

Line Management: Demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills bringing in proven ability to support the development of team members, build technical excellence, and cultivate a high performing, collaborative team environment.

Strategic & Organisational Initiatives: Contribute to important internal initiatives, proposition development and innovation.

Training & Personal Development: use the ACE (Anthesis Centre of Excellence) learning and development platform guided by your line manager.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • A degree/relevant qualification in a related field (sustainability/climate, engineering, environmental science, etc.)
  • For Senior Consultant: 4 to 6 years of hands-on, applied LCA experience, ideally across multiple sectors, product types or value chains. Management and business development experience is required.
  • For Manager/Principal Consultant: At least 10 years of work experience with minimum of 6 years of hands-on, applied LCA experience, ideally across multiple sectors, product types or value chains.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
