The posting

VZW CodeFever organiseert programmeerlessen voor kinderen van 8 t/m 15 jaar. We hebben een eigen educatief onderbouwde leermethode, met een doordacht vervolgtraject.

Onze lessen bevatten een mix tussen het leren van basisvaardigheden (vaak via spelletjes), en de eerste stappen in het programmeren. We werken deels “unplugged”, en deels achter de computer. Op de basislevels gebruiken we Scratch. In volgende levels komen er programmeertalen bij zoals bv HTML/CSS, JavaScript, micro:bits, Python, etc.

We werken met 2 leeftijdsgroepen om in te stappen in het traject:

De ByteBusters (3e tem 5e leerjaar) en de DigiHeroes (6e leerjaar en 1ste tem 3e middelbaar). Afhankelijk van het aantal leerlingen per groep wordt de lesgever ook bijgestaan door assistenten ter ondersteuning.

JOBINHOUD

• Je kan complexe materie op een simpele manier verwoorden en overbrengen aan kinderen • Je biedt kwalitatieve lessen aan de kinderen dankzij je programmeerkennis en je grondige voorbereiding • Je bent in staat om je assistent(en) duidelijk te briefen en indien nodig bij te sturen, waardoor dit de kwaliteit van de lessen nog verhoogt • Je gaat op een correcte & vlotte manier om met kinderen en ouders en brengt een goede sfeer in de groep

  • Je komt enkel in aanmerking indien je afgestudeerd bent (of relevante ervaring hebt)
  • Je bent IT-er, Ingenieur of leraar ICT, wiskunde, techniek, ...
  • Ervaring met lesgeven aan kinderen is een absolute meerwaarde (onderwijs, jeugdbeweging,...)
  • Engagement voor 1 volledige lesreeks van 10 lessen
  • Kennis van Scratch is handig, maar niet vereist. Basiskennis van programmeren is wel vereist.
  • Je hebt een warm hart voor kinderen :-)
  • Minimum 1 les, dus 2 uur ter plaatse (en voorbereiding)
  • Beschikbaar op 10 woens- en of zaterdagen in het voorjaar 2027
