About CodeRoad

CodeRoad provides end-to-end software development services, helping businesses scale with ideal infrastructure solutions. From staff augmentation to dedicated IT teams and general software engineering, our nearshore technology services empower businesses to thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

About the Role

As a Senior .NET/Blazor Software Developer, you will serve as a technical backbone for enterprise modernizations within our clients' engineering PODs. You will anchor end-to-end software engineering initiatives—ranging from deep code analysis and architectural refactoring to tech stack upgrades—while building scalable, high-performance web applications using the latest Microsoft stack, including .NET 8+ and Blazor.

This role is critical to modernizing legacy architectures into resilient, production-ready enterprise applications. Working embedded within an agile Scrum environment, you will translate high-level product strategy into actionable technical plans, conduct research and tool evaluations, and document foundational patterns and standards that elevate overall engineering quality across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable web applications leveraging C#, .NET, and component-based UI architectures in Blazor.
  • Anchor application modernization initiatives by leading code analysis, migration planning, tech stack upgrades, and performance optimization.
  • Orchestrate technical execution within a Scrum POD, taking high-level directional goals and formulating concrete strategies to deliver production-ready code at the end of each Sprint.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with product owners, enterprise architects, engineering leaders, and QA teams to shape architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI development tools, and engineering frameworks to establish best-practice patterns and system standards.
  • Optimize backend business logic, database queries in SQL Server, and RESTful services to ensure maximum application throughput, reliability, and security.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience focusing on enterprise applications within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Core Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in .NET Core / .NET 8+, C#, Blazor, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Web Fundamentals: Mastery of modern web standards, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and component-based UI design.
  • Testing & Quality: Proven expertise in unit testing backend business logic, CI/CD automated test patterns, and writing clean, maintainable code.
  • AI-Assisted Engineering: Hands-on experience using modern AI productivity tools like GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or Cursor for rapid code exploration and refactoring.
  • Ownership Mindset: Strong problem-solving aptitude, technical leadership, and the ability to operate independently with high accountability.
  • Mandatory: Advanced English (written and verbal) for seamless client-facing collaboration.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience or active exposure to .NET 10 features and Blazor WebAssembly / Server hybrid modes.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud services (Azure).
  • HIPAA compliance awareness or prior experience in healthcare tech ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with modern containerization (Docker) and enterprise DevOps workflows.

What You’ll Love

  • 100% Remote flexibility.
  • Paid Holidays off.
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Health insurance assistance.
  • Competitive USD-based compensation.
  • Continuous growth opportunities and career advancement.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
