## Job Summary The Automation Testing role focusing on Selenium/UI is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. ## Responsibilities - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web applications. - Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify any defects or issues in the application software. - Collaborate with development teams to understand technical requirements and clarify any testing needs. - Report and document software defects, and track their resolution to ensure effective quality assurance. - Participate in design and code reviews to recommend improvements on testability and test coverage. - Continuously improve test automation strategies and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.

## Qualifications - Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Technical Skills: - Proficient in automation testing tools, especially Selenium. - Strong experience in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Knowledge of UI testing frameworks. - Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI). - Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies. - Soft Skills: - Detail-oriented and analytical mindset. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

## Preferred Skills - Experience with additional testing tools or frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit). - Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). - Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.

## Experience - Candidates should have a minimum of 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in automation testing, preferably with a focus on Selenium and UI testing.
