DevOps Support Engineer

Job Summary

The DevOps Support Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of development and production environments, facilitating continuous integration and delivery processes. This role supports the maintenance and improvement of infrastructure and development pipelines to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Linux-based servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Utilize DevOps tools for automating deployment processes to improve development cycles.
  • Implement and manage containerization technology using Docker to streamline application deployment.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and rectify issues within deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor system health and logs to anticipate potential issues and respond proactively.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving production incidents, providing quick and effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux server administration, experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Ansible), and strong knowledge of Docker.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Docker Certified Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are preferred.
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
