Mobile Development Engineer

## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Developer to join the EMIS-X Mobile team. In this role, you will work on developing mobile-first healthcare solutions using React Native and modern development tools. You’ll be part of a team building technology that supports clinical workflows and improves patient outcomes.

## Responsibilities - Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (iOS and Android). - Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product owners to deliver seamless user experiences. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD workflows to maintain code quality and deployment efficiency. - Apply SOLID principles and design patterns for scalable and maintainable mobile architectures. - Identify, troubleshoot, and fix bugs or performance issues on mobile platforms. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

## Qualifications - Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. - Strong hands-on experience with React Native. - UI/UX implementation using CSS, Styled Components, and Responsive Design techniques. - Experience with state management tools such as Redux and Context API. - Familiarity with mobile local storage solutions like Realm DB. - Solid understanding of mobile development concepts, performance tuning, and device compatibility. - Version control using Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Detox, or similar. - Educational qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

## Preferred Skills - Native mobile development using Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android). - Working knowledge of REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications. - Experience with OAuth2, JWT, or other modern authentication techniques. - Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, API Gateway, Cognito. - Exposure to Docker, Terraform, or infrastructure as code (IaC) tools. - Knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards and experience with clinical workflows in healthcare applications.

## Experience 5+ years of experience in mobile development, particularly with cross-platform frameworks.

## Environment Remote / Hybrid (1–2 days onsite per month), shift timing from 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM IST.

## Salary Budgeted salary of 1.2 Lakhs.
