## Job Summary The QA Automation role is designed for an experienced professional who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through automated testing. This position requires a strong background in both manual and automated testing, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

## Responsibilities - Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate the functionality of software applications. - Conduct manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive quality assurance. - Perform SQL queries to manage test data and troubleshoot issues. - Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify, debug, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the QA process. - Utilize tools such as Postman for API testing and ensure UI testing meets specified requirements.

## Qualifications - 9+ years of proven experience as an automation tester. - Strong grasp of testing concepts and strategies, including the defect life cycle. - Proficiency in SQL for data management and issue debugging. - Basic knowledge of Linux for issue troubleshooting and debugging. - Expertise in the Java programming language for automation testing. - Ability to write, execute, and debug automation scripts in Java. - Knowledge of API testing/UI testing and familiarity with tools like Postman is a plus. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

## Preferred Skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

## Experience - 9+ years of experience in QA Automation and manual testing.

## Environment - Work-from-Office (WFO) for 3 days a week, with the remaining days potentially being remote.
