## Job Summary The SAS Developer role involves implementing data integration workflows using various SAS tools, transitioning SAS programs to PySpark, and contributing to the optimization and documentation of SAS processes. ## Responsibilities - Implement data integration workflows using SAS tools such as SAS Data Integration Studio. - Sanitize and optimize SAS programs in preparation for conversion to PySpark. - Utilize data accelerator to convert SAS programs while ensuring compliance with standards. - Demonstrate and document code lineage effectively. - Unit test generated PySpark programs, incorporating feedback from integration and testing phases. - Analyze SAS processes and statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations. - Develop and maintain SAS programs for automation and analysis. - Manage SAS jobs, schedules, and work with SAS metadata. - Ensure adherence to data security and privacy regulations during migration of SAS jobs and programs to production environments.

## Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in SAS, specifically in Base SAS and SAS Enterprise Guide (EG). - Experience with SAS Mainframe is a plus. - Understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes. - Experience with big data processing and distributed computing systems like Spark and Kafka. - Proficiency in Python and Scala for data manipulation and analysis. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

## Preferred Skills - Exposure to Python and PySpark development. - Knowledge of SQL is advantageous. - Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines and notebooks.

## Experience - 5-10 years of relevant experience in SAS development and data engineering.

## Environment - Position may require work in Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, or Pune. - No specific work setting details provided.

## Salary - 5-7 years of experience: ₹10.35 LPA. - 7-10 years of experience: ₹15.35 LPA.
