## Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Backend Developer to join the EY Fabric Platform team. This role demands a strong foundation in Computer Science, exceptional backend development expertise, and a passion for solving complex problems through scalable and maintainable software solutions.

## Responsibilities - Lead the design and development of robust backend systems and microservices. - Make sound architectural decisions balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Drive Agile/Scrum practices and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and excellence. - Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.

## Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (must have a strong CS background). - Minimum 7 years of experience in backend development.

## Preferred Skills - Programming Languages & Frameworks: C#, .NET Core, EF Core. - Cloud & DevOps: Azure (including services like Blob Storage, Key Vault), Docker, Kubernetes. - Databases: MongoDB (Document DB), PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server (Relational DB). - Software Design: Strong understanding of REST API design principles, microservices architecture, and end-to-end web application design. - Development Tools: Git, Visual Studio, VS Code. - Testing & Code Quality: Unit testing, clean code practices. - Algorithms & Data Structures: Excellent problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
