## Job Summary As a Sr. Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our software development and delivery processes. This position involves close collaboration with development and operations teams to design, build, and deploy scalable and reliable systems. You will ensure that production systems are highly available and performant, implementing automation to streamline processes within the organization.

## Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve software delivery processes. - Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure optimal performance. - Implement automation to improve efficiency and reliability of our systems. - Continuously improve our infrastructure and deployment processes, identifying areas for optimization. - Provide technical support to development and IT teams as needed. - Mentor junior team members, ensuring strong team dynamics and adoption of tooling and skill sets.

## Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience. - 5+ years of experience with Automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). - Proficient in implementing workloads in cloud and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring resilience, compliance, and security. - Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure solutions, including Networking, DNS, Container Orchestration, Security, and Monitoring. - Design and manage public and private cloud infrastructure using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Virtual Network, Compute, Buckets, Load Balancer as a Service (LBaaS), etc. - Implement migration paths to Microservices implementation, API Management, Container technologies, and Serverless architectures. - Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction, and offer solutions recommendations for complex technical issues. - Hands-on experience with OCI services such as Compute, Virtual Network, Buckets, DNS, and Load Balancer as a Service (LBaaS). - In-depth hands-on experience with at least one modern programming/scripting language (Python, Ansible, Go). - Proven experience deploying and maintaining services in a mixed OS, containerized/virtual environment, including Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, Windows Server, and Linux. - Deployment and support experience with applications in cloud environments, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or Azure. - Expertise in automation systems (Ansible, Rundeck, Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef). - Proficient in using Source Control Management systems (Git). - Expertise in creating Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Atlassian Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD). - Demonstrated expertise in creating and troubleshooting containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Rancher). - Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, both verbal and written, including a strong history of "whatever it takes" support. - Ability to work well as part of a team in a fun, fast-paced environment.

## Preferred Skills - Familiarity with cloud security best practices. - Experience with hybrid cloud architectures.

## Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field.

## Environment Located in a fast-paced and collaborative environment that may involve remote, in-office, or hybrid work arrangements.
