## Job Summary The Java Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for backend server-side development, creating scalable microservices, and ensuring the deployment of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in Java and related technologies to contribute to the organization’s goals.

## Responsibilities - Develop and maintain backend server-side applications using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. - Design and implement microservices architecture for scalable applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features efficiently. - Engage in cloud development, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases for data management, including RDS, Postgres, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Mongo. - Employ functional programming techniques using Java or Haskell.

## Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in microservice development using Java. - Proficient in backend server-side development with advanced knowledge of Spring Boot and REST APIs. - Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS. - Experience with SQL databases (RDS/Postgres/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB/Mongo). - Familiarity with functional programming paradigms, particularly in Java or Haskell. - Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams.

## Preferred Skills - Experience with Scala in microservice development. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using tools like Netflix Spinnaker. - Experience working with Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.

## Experience - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant software development roles, particularly focused on microservices and backend technologies.
