Senior Python Appium QA

## Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Python Appium QA who has extensive experience in automation testing. This role expects the candidate to ensure high-quality software through rigorous testing processes and automated testing frameworks. The candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality and driving efficiencies through automation.

## Responsibilities - Design, develop, and execute automation tests using Python/Java and Appium. - Manage API testing and automation through REST API methodologies. - Collaborate with development and product teams to define BDD scenarios using Cucumber. - Utilize automation frameworks with Selenium and WebdriverIO to enhance testing efficiency. - Execute tests using cloud-based testing tools like SauceLabs, Perfecto, Browserstack, or Headspin. - Coordinate testing efforts and provide frequent updates to stakeholders, ensuring adherence to project timelines.

## Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing. - Strong programming skills in Python or Java. - Proficient in automation tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cucumber, and Appium. - Experience with REST API automation testing. - Familiarity with version control systems like GIT or Bitbucket. - Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Experience working with project management and documentation tools like Jira, Confluence, ALM, and X-ray. - Good planning and time-management abilities, with experience managing tight deadlines.

## Preferred Skills - Experience with performance testing tools. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies. - Previous experience in relationship management with internal and external customers.

## Experience - A minimum of 8 years in quality assurance with a strong focus on automation.
