## Job Summary The Splunk Administration role focuses on the management and optimization of Splunk systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This position contributes to the organization by providing insights into data analytics, monitoring, and reporting capabilities derived from the Splunk platform.

## Responsibilities - Manage the Splunk environment, ensuring optimal configuration and performance. - Implement new Splunk applications and tools as needed to support business processes. - Monitor system health, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues in a timely manner. - Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards and reports to meet organizational needs. - Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Splunk with existing systems and processes. - Provide training and support to users on using Splunk effectively.

## Qualifications - Strong knowledge of Splunk architecture and components, including forwarders, indexers, and search heads. - Experience in setting up and managing Splunk's security practices. - Proficient in writing Splunk searches and queries, including Knowledge Objects. - Familiarity with data ingestion processes and configuring data sources for Splunk. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. - Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting is a plus. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

## Preferred Skills - Certifications in Splunk Administration or related fields are a plus. - Familiarity with cloud-based Splunk deployments (AWS, Azure) is beneficial. - Understanding of networking principles and security protocols.

## Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in IT with a focus on systems administration, or a similar technical role. - Proven experience in Splunk administration or data analytics environment is preferred.
