As a German speaking Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a key role in Cognism’s growth by exceeding your monthly meeting targets and generating new sales opportunities. This role requires ambition, resilience, and a competitive mindset. You’ll engage with a high volume of inbound leads and conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify new business opportunities.

YOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES

  • Engage with a high volume of inbound leads, quickly qualifying potential sales opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach, to generate new business.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our ideal customer profile to assess fit and need effectively.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently work towards exceeding targets.
  • Stay agile and proactive in learning new tools, processes, and market trends.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Communication: Strong ability to engage prospects, articulate value, and actively listen.
  • Mindset: Competitive and results-driven, with a strong desire to overachieve.
  • Curiosity & Problem-Solving: Ability to ask the right questions and uncover opportunities.
  • Coachability: Open to feedback and eager to learn and improve.
  • Resilience & Determination: Thrives in a high-rejection environment and stays motivated.
  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales is a plus but not essential.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred.
