As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll provide compassionate, harm reduction-focused care to people experiencing acute intoxication, supporting safer health outcomes across Melbourne. Please refer to the Position Description to know more about the role. Your duties include:

Support patient focused care, from preadmission to post discharge

Assess and observe immediate health needs as a first responder and provide care as needed

Provide assertive outreach and on-site care consultation with the registered nurse

Work collaboratively with internal partners and external stakeholders to optimise safety and outcomes for people intoxicated in public

Our ideal candidate:

Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Minimum of two years’ experience working as an Enrolled Nurse Experience in community nursing or providing nursing care within community-based services Experience working with people who use alcohol and other drugs and/or people experiencing homelessness is highly desirable

This is in accordance with the Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders and legislated requirement for influenza vaccination.
