The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise, strong organizational leadership, and customer engagement to deliver uniquely innovative solutions to the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical & Product Leadership

  • Define system architectures, engineering methodologies, and multi-generation technology roadmaps.
  • Lead the development of complex electromechanical systems, balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and time-to-market objectives.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of AI-enabled engineering workflows.

Product Development & Execution

  • Lead a disciplined stage-gate NPI process, ensuring successful verification, validation, manufacturing readiness, and product launch.
  • Establish best practices for systems engineering, requirements management, risk assessment, design reviews, reliability, and quality.

Customer & Business Engagement

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Applications Engineering, and key customers to align product strategy to emerging market requirements.
  • Serve as the senior technical interface for strategic customer engagements and technology reviews.

Organizational Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global engineering organization consisting of engineering managers, principal engineers, and technical specialists.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Manufacturing & Operations

  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality organizations to ensure successful product introduction and lifecycle support.
  • Drive product objectives for reliability, serviceability, safety, uptime, and customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience

Required

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in semiconductor capital equipment, semiconductor test, wafer fabrication equipment, or related industries.
  • Proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex product development programs.
  • Strong systems architecture experience delivering products through formal NPI processes.
  • Experience managing engineering managers, geographically distributed teams, and significant R&D investments.

Preferred

  • Experience in semiconductor test, ATE, probe, wafer sort, advanced packaging, or related technologies.
  • Technical knowledge of digital, RF, power, embedded processing, automation, thermal, mechanical, and precision measurement systems.
  • Experience applying AI/ML technologies to engineering development, automation, process optimization, or product innovation.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
