The posting

The Buyer / Planner for Supply Chain Planning (Lifestyle) will work under the direction of the Manager of Lifestyle Planning and will be responsible to support the strategic and tactical objectives of the Production Planning team from initiation of Factory orders for all global channels to our factory and licensing partners, tracking production schedules, analyzing the impact of changes; and communicating to internal and vendor partners.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Order Entry: Schedule and place factory orders to direct factories and licensees to cover demand requirements in all Global Locations within designated timing requirements, manage Direct ship and Cross dock orders in SAP; send and confirm order receipts with factories or licensees
  • Order Integrity: Maintain confirmed order dates, order date changes, cancellations, order closing, and quantity changes
  • Communicate all changes in supply dates to the affected channel’s buying and planning teams
  • Prepare and distribute weekly licensed order tracking document
  • Resolve receipt discrepancies with the DC and vendors
  • Work with logistics and vendors on transit questions
  • Maintain charge backs to Factories for any/all violations to stated Cole Haan requirements
  • Act as the liaison between vendors and IT on EDI issues
  • Additional tasks as required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply/Production planning preferred
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly communicate with multiple team members across the organization

This position is not available to be performed in Colorado.
